Mo Salah criticed by Muslims for celebrating Xmas

Mohammed Salah suffers backlash from the Muslim community for celebrating Christmas this year with his family.

Mo Salah, who plays for Liverpool FC in England posted a photo of him, his wife and children on Instagram wishing Christians a #merrychristmas. Since then, his post has received thousands of negative comments of which many are from the Muslim community.

Egyptian Muslims and Muslims around the world have expressed their disappointment towards the post and some are even disowning him and says he’s not their Muslim brother because a true Muslim “doesn’t celebrate Christmas.”
