Dozens feared dead after a transit lorry rammed into Hello, good afternoon, crowd in Migori County

On 8th April 2023, it is a sad morning for Migori people and the country at large, this follows a brutal road accident that leaves dozens dead

The lorry which was carrying rice lost control and bumped into other vehicles, boda boda riders and crowded places along busy Migori-Isebania highway, the most affected people are boda riders with 15 already reported dead bringing the tally to over 20 people

Rescue mission is still underway with several unknown numbers trapped in the debris, Reports suggest the driver lost control of the heavily loaded track with rice which was at a very high speed,
