Pastor invited for prayer day goes missing with form four candidate in Bomet

 A prayer meeting for fourth-grade candidates at Ngererit secondary School in Bomet County took a disturbing turn when the pastor who was leading the service mysteriously disappeared along with one of the female candidates after the event.

According to a report filed with the area police station, the two were last seen riding a boda-boda in the nearby Trade Center. They then disappeared, leaving no further trace.

Bomet County Education spokesperson Leonard Ngugi said the the case was immediately reported to the local OCS for action to be taken.

The two are said to have crossed to the nearby Narok County few hours later. “We are confident that the police are working diligently to arrest the two wherever they are. This will enable the candidate to reunite with her parents and for her to sit for the final exam. ’” Ngugi said.

Bomet County Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) President Stephen Kosgei stressed the importance of vigilance in interactions between visitors and students and urged schools to pay attention to such issues including those pretending to be people of God but with hidden agenda .
