Mai Mau Gas Explosion burns more than seven vehicles with several people feared trapped in the debris

A lorry Transporting gas cylinder has exploded into flames at Mutarakwa in Mai Mau. The lorry which had earlier involved in a slide accident was being towed before it bursted into flames at the area.With the heavy traffic usually experienced at Mai Mau.

More than 7 more vehicles were caught by the heavy explosion burning. Of the seven cars most of them were burnt beyond recognition and it’s feared several people were trapped in the fire.Motorists have been advised to use an alternative route as the debris are ferried out from the scene.
