A police and a teenager drowns to death in Kitui County

The police officer and the boy were both pronounced dead after drowning in the Keiya earth dam in Endui village, Kitui County.

After finding out the 15 year old had drowned , the police officer identified as Daniel Kasina, jumbed in the waters to try rescue the boy but unfortunately fate wasn’t on his side.

The 15-year-old boy was a student at Mutuang’ombe Secondary School, local reports say the boy had gone to fetch water with his friends on Sunday when he decided to refreshen up by swimming but unfortunately drowned in the dam.

The bodies of the two have been moved from scene to the nearest facility
